Carolina Pediatrics of Wilmington is located on Medical Center Drive near Carolina Beach Road in Wilmington, NC. We offer a clean, friendly, inviting atmosphere for both our children patients and their parents.
We are a small privately owned pediatric practice started by Dr. Mary Forehand in 1989. Our physicians and staff strive to give you and your child the friendly and individualized care you deserve.
HOURS
Our pediatricians are available for well visits by appointment:
* Monday through Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
Pediatricians are also available for sick visits by appointment:
* Monday through Thursday, 1 pm – 6:30 pm (4 pm on Fridays)
As a Children's Clinic, we also offer special walk-in hours:
* Monday through Saturday, 8 am – 10 am
Help is available by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
SCHEDULE OF WELL VISITS
As your Children's Doctor, we recommend scheduling visits for your child at:
2 weeks
2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 24, and 30 months
Annually age 3 through 18 years
The purposes of these visits:
To review and assess each child’s total development and school progress
To administer necessary immunizations
To perform screening tests such as vision, hearing, blood, and urinalysis
To provide anticipatory guidance and counseling to parents or to adolescent patients directly
